Well not really.

You really shouldn’t be so surprised because Yes, there is also a Laguna Beach here in Lagos, Nigeria. 

While the owners may be different, I believe the choice of name was intentional to let people know that you can get a Nigerian version of Laguna Beach here in Lagos Nigeria.

About Laguna Beach

Laguna Beach is one of the newest beach additions to the list of private beaches in Lagos, the beach was opened in November 2019. Laguna beach is known to be less crowded, clean, calm and a beautiful private Beach in Lagos. The beach opens every day of the year from 9:00 AM – 11:00 PM Daily, so yes they have a closing time everyday so guests can get home to catch some rest after a fun-filled day at the beach.

Laguna Beach is one beach in Lagos that gives a trip to a Dubia Beach feel, not just Dubia but an Italian/Asian styled theme design beach. This vibes comes from the way the beach owners paid attention to adding a few details to the beach design to give the beach a not your regular typical Nigerian beach look. The beach has cabana in addition to the regular beach settings.

Where is Laguna Beach Located in Lagos?

Laguna Beach is 20 minutes drive from Lekki Phase 1, located on Okun Ajah Road, Eti-Osa, Lekki-Scheme 2, Lagos, Nigeria. Laguna Beach is easy to get to as it is located in an easy to locate area and doesn’t require any extra boat cost to get to the beach making it a budget friendly beach to go hang out at.

Can I Bring Food to Laguna Beach

Unfortunately the answer to that question is a capital “NO”, even when willing to pay a Corkage Fee you will not be allowed to bring food into Laguna beach. Before now beach goers were allowed to bring food into Laguna Beach but soon stopped for what it is worth you should know that Laguna Beach Restaurant has the most special menu you can find on any beach out there.

The beach restaurant and a bar has more than enough of a variety of food to eat and drinks to chill with.

Talking about drinks, Laguna Beach boast of having expert bartenders who makes the best cocktails, milkshakes, ice teas and fun beach drinks ever.

Like I always say this doesn’t mean if you plan to head there with a fat purse that you won’t get a good line up of things to have a great time with.
